WHATS GOOD YOUTUBE ?! It’s your boy Jon Mango, back with another fitness & nutrition informative video here. In this video, I’m taking you through a leg day I did with my boy Tymek. This video consists of a lot of raw clips, showing you some sets, talking through some sections, but the purpose is really to show you how basic I’ve kept my leg workouts, and am still able to effectively build muscle and strength in them regardless of whether I’m trying to lose fat or get in a surplus and bulk to gain mass.

My leg workouts have been roughly the same (I have 2 leg days) for a while now, and that means sticking to the fundamental, basic compound lifts that will help you get the most tension across the muscle.

Part of my current goal is to improve and grow my calves, so we did throw some sets of those in as well.

If you’re looking for a simple but extremely effective way to grow strength and muscle in your legs, then a workout like this one is what you need. Throw away the bands, throw away the complex angles and variations of exercises. Stick to the bread and butter. As a natural trainee this is where 90+% of your gains will come from.
